My love affair with the fuji XE-1

Update:

Still loving the camera. Pimped it up a little with a red and black artisan & artist strap and a red bop soft-release shutter button.

Everyday I get frustrated with the AF speed but I am learning to love it for all its little quirks because the IQ (image quality) this gem puts out is outstanding especially in low light.

There are times that I wish I had he AF speed and precision of my 5dmkii but come to think  of it, I would never bring that beast as much as I bring the XE1. I pretty much bring the fuji everywhere, anytime I think there would be any chance of good photo opportunities. I love how it is compact enough that I can just grab it and sling it over my shoulder without any bag, or additional accessories.

I am in still very much love with the 35mm lens (50mm focal length). Although I still love my 5d with the 50L and that bokehlicious f1.2 aperture combined with the optically awesome sigma 35mm f1.4, Fuji has become more than a teenage love affair, she is slowly becoming my main love. But then again, canon will always be my first love.

Here are some of my favourite shots from the last couple of weeks:
